You can read more about the upcoming DVDs, which will apparently be in both UNRATED and XXX versions here. That's good news as it means the unrated DVD can be stocked by brick and mortar retailers, well the better ones anyway.

While I'm sure you're all wondering what the difference could possibly be, and some may be wondering if this is more of a porno than a 'movie' movie, based on what I know it's safe to say you wont be seeing crass low brow "porn" dialogue or situations like. .



In either print. Beast in Space is an honest to goodness low budget space opera, that just happens to have some nudity and (depending on the version you're looking to buy) some sex. Which isn't to say the movie lacks subtle sensuality. .



In point of fact the movie has some rather bizarre moments. But it's also a lot of fun. After all the movie literally begins in a space bar where a Han Solo type lothario wanders in, picks a fight, then puts his best moves on the girl of the hour. What's not to love about a movie that throws the cliches at us from the first scene!

Is Beast in Space really the mind-boggling spaghetti space opera fun I make it out to be? Only one way to find out.
