This forum is for discussion of all manner of historical epics, including sword-and-sandal movies, AKA peplums. While often similar to high fantasy adventures and sword-and-sorcery the sword-and-sandal genre is, for the most part, entirely mundane. While gods and goddess may put in an appearance there's seldom any 'magic' to be scene.
